Dr. Miroslav Polzer

Miroslav Polzer is an Austrian innovation leader working at the intersection of environment and sustainability, emerging technologies, and multistakeholder governance.

He is Founder and CEO of GloCha Tech (a public-benefit LLC) and Secretary General of the International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges (IAAI), advancing the GloCha (“Global Challenges Action Empowerment”) ecosystem to empower youth, citizens, and communities with practical digital public infrastructure and Web3/AI-enabled solutions for climate and SDG action.

Miroslav is also a founding member and Strategic Director of the Climate Chain Coalition, supporting responsible adoption of blockchain and related technologies for climate action, sustainable finance, and impact integrity.

His UN-system and international cooperation experience includes serving as Head of the Austrian Science & Research Liaison Office in Ljubljana (on behalf of Austria’s Federal Ministry of Science & Research) and as an International Evaluation Expert on mission for UNIDO.

With doctoral studies in environmental economics and development theory, postgraduate training in technical environmental protection, and a background in innovation management, he brings a systems-oriented perspective to connecting policy, technology, and people-centered implementation pathways
