Professor Jongsub Lee is a globally recognized authority in finance with deep expertise in digital finance, banking, and fintech. He is a Professor of Finance at Seoul National University (SNU) Business School, where his research bridges rigorous academic insight with real-world financial innovation and policy relevance. His work has been published in the world’s leading academic journals—including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies—reflecting his substantial scholarly influence in the field.

In addition to his academic contributions, Professor Lee serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies, the first SSCI-listed finance journal in Asia published by the Korean Securities Association. He also serves as a member of the Crypto Blockchain Economic Research (CBER) forum, which advances interdisciplinary research and regulatory dialogue on blockchain economics across finance, computer science, and related fields.
