After 8+ years in strategy consulting, specializing in Technology & Media projects in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, Melanie Damour has joined XRPL Commons as Strategic Initiatives Director since 2022, now working from the New York office. XRPL Commons is a non-profit that aims to create the conditions of success for entrepreneurs and developers to thrive in the XRPL ecosystem. As a blockchain enthusiast, her goal is to promote the usage of this disruptive technology to solve real-world issues with a focus on impact finance, climate resilience, and humanitarian aid across geographies and within underserved populations. Impact initiatives she supports within her role cover Sustainability & Carbon Markets, Blockchain Teaching and R&D, Open Source contributions, and Impact finance for early-stage and advanced projects.
