Oscar Wendel, Founder & Chairman, Global Stratalogues

Oscar Wendel serves as Saudi Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council, advancing the adoption of blockchain technologies, digital asset infrastructure, and decentralized identity frameworks in support of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy and Vision 2030 objectives. His work focuses on translating government priorities into enterprise-grade blockchain solutions across finance, telecommunications, mobility, and critical national infrastructure.

He is the Founder and Chairman of Global Stratalogues, a think tank convening senior policymakers, regulators, and technology leaders through closed-door roundtables and publishes industry white papers that includes real-world asset tokenization, decentralized identity, Web3 infrastructure, and cross-border digital interoperability. It has hosted events in partnership with GBBC alongside Qatar Economic Forum, Singapore Fintech Festival and WEF.

Oscar currently serves as Middle East Partner for Karrier One, a decentralized telecommunications infrastructure company, supporting regional partnerships around the Carrier Number System (KNS), a blockchain-enabled framework linking mobile numbers to secure wallets, digital identity, and payment rails. In this role, he works closely with telecom operators, regulators, and financial institutions to enable inclusive, compliant Web3-telecom integration at national and regional scale.

Previously, Oscar served as Senior Content Manager for Global Events at the Financial Times in London, Senior Content Manager at Dubai World Trade Centre overseeing programming for GITEX, and was Group Director for Conference and Content at MCH Group (organiser of Art Basel), leading content strategy, including programming at COP28.
