Benoit J.P. Flammang

Benoit J.P. Flammang “Ben” is a serial entrepreneur, investor and seasoned strategic international Blockchain business development professional. He believes that digitalization of ownership of assets with Blockchain technology will lead to the ultimate liquidity needed for assets, such as companies, real estate, investment funds.  It will democratize small fractional ownership and drive entire economies.  Ben has been proposing this economic development solution to several governments. He visited dozens of countries to hone his cross-cultural business skills.

Ben spent the first five years of his career at IBM Belgium. He moved to the US in 1988 for Belgian Telindus, now part of Belgacom, and restructured their R&D/Manufacturing telecom company in Raleigh, NC, structured and implemented a management buy-out. He created Beninvest in 1992 in New York for alternative investments and later The Beninvest Family Office. He co-owns a patent related to registering diamonds on the Blockchain.

He was nominated by the Belgian King as advisor for Foreign Trade and was a longtime director of the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce in NY. He received his degree in Applied Economics from ICHEC Management School in Brussels. He is a Luxembourg citizen, fluent in English, French and Flemish/Dutch. He was the 2016 Keynote speaker at the Arabian Venture Forum at KAUST. He has also been a speaker at Keio University in Tokyo.
