Catrina Luchsinger Gähwiler

Catrina graduated from the Zurich University where she also wrote her thesis on financial regulation of the distribution of financial products. She is a Partner at Barandun AG (Banking & Finance) and was a partner with MLL Froriep for 15 years in the field of banking / regulatory / fintech and holds various board mandates in the financial service industry and stock listed companies. She was politically active on local and federal level in the past, advocating lean government administration and empowerment of the private sector. She survived the hot phase of ICOs taking place in Switzerland and has since been involved as advisor in a number of very promising blockchain projects. She regularly publishes on debated topics of blockchain regulation.
