Dave Ford

Dave is the co-founder of [BXC] the Blockchain x Climate Leadership Network & [OPLN] Ocean Plastics Leadership Network In 2015, he began immersing corporate leaders into environmental world crises via climate change expeditions in Antarctica and human-wildlife conflict zones in Zimbabwe and Southern India. In 2019 he spearheaded the Ocean Plastics Leadership Summit which took 165 plastics leaders to the Atlantic Garbage patch 500 miles off the coast of Bermuda. In 2022, he took Blockchain and climate leaders to the Greenland Ice Sheet. These expeditions gave birth to the activist-to-industry impact networks,  BxC and OPLN. Dave's work catalyzes environmental stakeholder engagement and education. He has spoken about his work via United Nations World Ocean Day, the National Geographic Circular Economy Forum, and various sustainability and environmental events and platforms. He is a regular contributor to Scientific American.
