Ned Thompson is a South Florida-based business banker with more than twenty years of advising businesses of all sizes from start-ups to large corporations while working for Santander Bank and Bank of America. He is a board member of the South Florida Chapter of Infragard, which is a nationwide organization of over 50,000 members in 84 chapters across the US. Infragard, working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is tasked with educating its members about threats to the nation’s critical infrastructure.

Mr. Thompson is also a member of InfraGard National Member Alliance’s (INMA) blockchain cross-sector council, which is composed of blockchain experts in various disciplines whose goal is to create educational programs around blockchain’s influence on the sixteen industries that are deemed critical to the infrastructure of the United States. His specialty is the payment realm & Additionally, Mr. Thompson is also involved with the Cardano, Algorand, Helium, Hyperledger, Quorum, and Provenance blockchains as either an investor, governor, and/or ambassador. He is a charter member of the Miami Chapter of the Cardano Foundation and the Hyperledger Foundation’s Denver Chapter. Mr. Thompson has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College. He also holds an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Services from Providence College. Mr. Thompson has completed certificate work in Cybersecurity Risk Management at Harvard University and holds additional certifications as a Quorum Expert, Blockchain Expert, and Smart Contract Developer from The Blockchain Council.
