Gabriela Shibata boasts over 15 years of experience in IT and Financial Markets, establishing herself as a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding that navigates the complexities of both domains. During her notable 12-year career at the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3), she led the derivatives and market maker trading desk, electronic trading innovation, strategy & cross-market team, and currently holds the influential position of Head of Cash Equities Product. In this role, she is at the forefront of strategic discussions, propelling the development and growth of the Brazilian Capital Markets.

She collaborates with regulatory authorities to enhance the national regulatory framework. Gabriela's influence extends further as she spearheads innovative discussions and projects with key local and global players, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain and AI to enhance efficiency within the financial ecosystem.

With a primary background in technology, Gabriela has fortified her expertise with an MBA in Finance from Insper (Brazil) and a Capital Markets Certificate from George Washington University (USA).
