Jennifer Koskelin-Gibbons is co-founder of the Palau Legacy Project and the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Palau Pledge.  Ms. Gibbons was the Pew Charitable Trusts consultant and adviser who directed the Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy Project in Palau resulting in the Palau National Marine Sanctuary Campaign which was signed into law in 2015. Palau now has the largest percentage of protected maritime territory in the world. She currently serves as Chairman of the Financial Institution Commission in the Republic of Palau and has more than two decades of strategic marketing and project management experience in New York, Guam and Palau. Most recently Jennifer held the position of executive director of the Palau Chamber of Commerce where she spearheaded the first independent Presidential debates and national economic symposium to develop better collaboration between public and private sector. Ms. Gibbons has a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Santa Clara University in California.
