Kalle Palling

Co-Founder of Cachet, Former Estonian MP and Chair of European Union Affairs Committee in The Parliament of Estonia. During 12 years in the Parliament, Kalle was responsible for many legislative initiatives to enable technology and e-governance in Estonia. One of the latest success was leading the process to create the legal framework for platforms like Uber and Bolt to operate in the Estonian market by the book. It was one of the first time it happened anywhere in Europe. Today in most of the country’s that are regulating platforms, the Estonian bill is always used as an example to follow.  Kalle has also worked as a member of the board of directors at Eesti Energia (Eneft) and as a member of board of directors at Tallinn Airport. Currently he spends most of his time to build up Cachet- a usage based insurance platform for sharing economy service providers. In a long run Cachet aims to build platform for different person-centric insurance products.
