Kefa Ngoiri is a Pan-Africanist and a senior finance officer of the Capital Markets Authority Kenya. He has an MBA in finance from the United States International University and alumnus of the capital markets program from George Washington University DC, whose aim is to deepen the capital markets and better societies through shared prosperity As a member of the regulatory sandbox committee, his entrepreneurial, innovative; and financial strengths have helped in meeting the objectives of the committee whose aim is to tap into new technological advancements in finding solutions to facilitate financial inclusion and economic advancement through the capital markets ecosystem. He is also active in risk management as a risk champion in embedding a risk culture in the organization with a focus on performance in achieving the set strategic objectives Kefa has worked with the Global Blockchain Business Council as a scholar from the Milken Institute and contributed to the GSMI 2.0 report. He has served as the Capital Markets Authority staff welfare president for two years and kickstarted the blockchain conversation within the Authority during the stint. Being an enthusiastic farmer, Kefa seeks to play a role in hunger alleviation allowing humans a dignified life through improved living standards and helping realize Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through community projects and think tank groups. Kefa believes that blockchain is fundamental in making the world a global village more so with the common shared data sets across different industries.
