Makoto Takemiya is a co-founder and CEO of Soramitsu. He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and actively engages in research. He has an M.S. in Computer Science from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Tokyo. Additionally, he has been instrumental in the design of the blockchain-based Bakong retail payments system for the National Bank of Cambodia, D3Ledger, and the Sora Decentralized Autonomous Economy.
