Michael Clare is currently employed as the Vice President of Digital Assets and Fintech Operations at Liongate Bahamas Limited and formerly an Economist at the Ministry of Finance for the Bahamas. Mr. Clare is also the founder of One X Solutions Limited, which is a digital asset and blockchain technology consultancy company that offers specialized services including educational material, on a global scale.

Michael Clare has obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (BSc.) in Finance from Lenoir Rhyne University. To further his financial knowledge, Clare went on to obtain his MBA with a focus of Economics and Finance at Beijing Normal University located in Beijing, China. Furthermore, to advance his knowledge in blockchain technology, Michael Clare has obtained a second Master’s degree (MSc.) in Digital Currency and Blockchain technology from the University of Nicosia located in Nicosia, Cyprus making him the first Bahamian to possess a masters degree in the space. In 2021, Michael Clare was Selected as one of the Top 48 Millennials of the Bahamasin recognition of his distinctive knowledge within the blockchain technology and digital assets space. Being involved within the Web 3.0 space since 2017, Clare has developed a firm belief in the boundless capabilities of the trailblazing technology. As a result, Clare has become an extreme advocate for blockchain technology, encouraging him to take the necessary actions to educate and push for its adoption worldwide.
