Rachel Pipan

Rachel Pipan is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Maneuvre, an Amsterdam-based strategy firm with a specialty in crypto and blockchain startups. With a stated mission to "do nice work for nice people," Maneuvre works with a curated group of impact-minded blockchain and crypto organisations on growth, communications/marketing, and strategy. Before co-founding Maneuvre, Rachel worked at European blockchain unicorn Bitfury, beginning as Press Associate and ending as director of all communications initiatives. In doing so, she evolved the communications and perception for what grew to be Europe’s largest blockchain unicorn, as well as several of its spinoff companies.

Prior to joining Bitfury in 2016, Rachel was an Assistant Account Executive for the media strategies and services team at Edelman Public Relations in Washington, D.C, where she worked for global organisations such as Samsung and Western Union. Rachel is an award-winning communications expert and has spoke to audiences including the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Harvard Business School, and the National Joint Cyber Investigative Task Force on crypto, blockchain, and public adoption of these technologies. Dedicated to supporting visionary start-ups, women and other underrepresented groups achieve meaningful impact in the field, she is a firm believer in the incredible power of entrepreneurship and mission-aligned growth.

Rachel received her MA in Strategic Communications from American University and her BA in Public Relations with a minor in Business as an honoured graduate of Auburn University.
