Ridouane Azagrouze

Ridouane joined MAROCLEAR, CSD of Morocco, in 1999 and appointed as Head of IT Division in 2007 and as Chief Information Officer in 2014. He is an Executive IT professional with over 25 years of experience combining technical, capital markets and security expertise.

He conducted complex transformation projects and implemented suitable and cost effective technologies to secure post trade processes for Moroccan Capital Markets. He also demonstrates the impact of Blockchain technology in capital Market by achieving successfully PoC on Cross border settlement and registrar services.  

He gave also consultancy and assistance as a project manager and industry expert for Central Banks and Stock Exchange in Africa (BEAC - Central Africa Central Bank, BCEAO - West Africa Central Bank and BVMAC - Stock Exchange of Central Africa).

He was appointed in October 2019 as Chair of the technical committee of the African Exchanges Linkage Project.
