Valerie Van Tran focuses on the policy implications and application of blockchain at the intersection of finance and international development to solve problems relating to financial inclusion and climate financing. As Founding Member, she led a fintech partnership for financial inclusion at One Mount, the largest digital ecosystem of Vietnam. Previously she advised Europe's leading technology companies on strategic finance at Silicon Valley Bank. She started her career with JPMorgan in the Public Sector practice advising governments on reserves management and financial stability. A native of Hanoi, she graduated from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill as a Robertson Scholar and is currently pursuing the Master of Public Administration in International Development at Harvard Kennedy School.
