Now Live: GBBC Giving & WFP Innovation Accelerator's Food for Crisis Concept Report

Food for Crisis, as a joint initiative by GBBC Giving and WFP Innovation Accelerator, took an important step toward solving global hunger!  Thank you to FilecoinFoundation for your support to make this possible.

We are excited to announce the launch of our proof-of-concept, implemented thanks to the WFP team in Peru, and powered by AIDONIC’s innovative donation engagement solution.

What makes this project unique? 

👉 The proof-of-concept used Filecoin Foundation’s decentralized storage network. AIDONIC’s system, which leverages blockchain technology and NFTs to bring unprecedented transparency and accountability to philanthropic giving, used NEAR Protocol to mint NFTs that immutably recorded donation and distribution data. 

👉 The process represented fiat donations as digital twins on the blockchain, enabling tracking without using on-chain financial transfers. Every donation and aid delivery was securely recorded, ensuring an unalterable trail from donor to recipient while protecting the privacy of aid recipients. 

👉 These platforms created a comprehensive, traceable chain of accountability that redefines how we approach charity.
