GBBC Responds to FCA Guidance Consultation GC26/5

GBBC has submitted its response to the Financial Conduct Authority’s GC26/5 on proposed non-Handbook guidance for the CRYPTOPRU 7 overall risk assessment.

Our response welcomes the guidance and recommends targeted additions to make it more practical for firms and supervisors. These include clearer reconciliation between identified risks and existing prudential requirements, proportionate use of international group frameworks, and worked examples covering custody risks, stablecoin liquidity, stress testing and wind-down planning.

We are grateful to our members for their contributions.
