International Journal of Blockchain Law (IJBL) Volume XII

Written and edited by lawyers, GBBC’s International Journal of Blockchain Law (IJBL) is designed to help interested business and non-legal communities better understand the regulatory world of blockchain and digital assets.

We are pleased to present Volume XII, highlighting key regulatory developments across Asia, Europe, and the United States. In this edition, we explore the interoperability challenges between MiCA and PSD2, digital asset custody (DAC) frameworks in Malaysia, Hong Kong’s proposed stablecoin legislation, the emergence of agentic AI, the U.S. CFTC’s recent advisory on the participation of foreign-organized entities in digital asset derivatives trading, and evolving UK cryptoasset regulations.
