The Role of Ambassadors

Since our founding, GBBC ambassadors have been an integral foundation for GBBC’s three pillars: education, standards and partnership. GBBC ambassadors help the organization grow and maintain a vibrant global network that bridges the blockchain, regulatory, and business worlds. Interested in Becoming a 2027 Ambassador?

Before applying, please acknowledge the following:

GBBC ambassadors agree to commit — as volunteers — to various levels of engagement based on one’s availability and ability to support GBBC efforts and GBBC members, including the following responsibilities:

  • Advocate for GBBC membership to one’s network, including one’s own organization
  • Senior level introductions (both in industry and government)
  • Business Development: connections to leads who would be great additions to our community of members
  • Access and engagement with high profile organizations, supranationals, and related entities
  • Serving as our trusted ears and eyes on the ground in their respective jurisdiction or discipline
  • Available and accessible as a trusted local point of contact and / or domain expert for GBBC network
  • Present GBBC Executive team with general strategic view of local jurisdiction or discipline, given circumstances and blockchain ecosystem maturity
  • If needed, represent GBBC during relevant speaking engagements and events (upon GBBC’s request)

Important to note:

  • GBBC ambassadors are featured on the GBBC’s website and may participate in GBBC activities as invited or as appropriate
  • Invites to every GBBC event are not guaranteed
  • There is no monetary compensation, and ambassadors are NOT GBBC members unless one explicitly joins as a member
  • The GBBC ambassadorship is typically a one-year period, reviewed annually for the possibility of renewal
  • To be considered, you must be a GBBC member or have a point of contact who is part of the GBBC community in some capacity

The deadline is December 1.
