From Dialogue to Governance: Digital Assets Policy Report Launched at GBBC Blockchain Central Davos

Last week marked the launch of Digital Assets Policy Roundtable: A Turning Point for Digital Asset Governance, a new report produced in partnership with Global Stratalogues. The report builds on insights from a closed-door policy roundtable in Singapore and situates regional regulatory discussions within the broader context of global economic governance.

The report underscores a growing consensus that digital assets are transitioning from speculative instruments to foundational infrastructure for identity, access, and economic participation. Participants emphasized the need for governance frameworks with enforceable rights, clear accountability structures, and regulatory-grade data integrity as a requirement for institutional adoption. Key challenges were examined, this included legal finality in tokenized transactions, cross-border interoperability, DAO accountability, and the integration of AI-enabled compliance tools.

A central theme of the discussions was “compliance by design,” highlighting the need for legal certainty, auditability, and supervisory access directly into digital asset infrastructure. Additionally, the report addresses risks related to regulatory arbitrage and cross-border enforcement gaps, reinforcing the need for coordinated international approaches as digital assets become more deeply incorporated into the global financial system.

This report signifies a shift in the industry narrative, positioning the publication as a practical reference grounded in real policy dialogue.
